I hate you. I was sitting on my computer, happily just reading everyone's livejournals, when you again made my life hell...
How do you keep making my life hell?
Well, first you post. That, in general, makes me upset. ;_; I miss you, and never get to see you, so it in turn reminds me how much I miss you.
Second, and most importantly, you put up pictures and, worst of worst, LINKS to Etsy!
Shame on you!!!!!
Now I want to buy so many pretty, and kickass steampunk, things! Eeeeevil evil Hayley.
I know this was your evil intention all along, so you win. You win, and I give up.

Man, I wish I had the time (slash patience and not laziness) to go through everything we did in our 3 weeks of awesome while in Japan. ^_^ So just know WE LOVED IT! (And by the way, I say we because there were like 11 of us.)

And today I got the job for General Manager of Owl Radio, starting in July.

Rawr. So I bought a Japanese Electronic Dictionary the other day, thinking "Wow! It will be so cool to have this! How handy!"
When I got it, and opened it, what were my thoughts? "Wow...this thing is cheap as hell."
So, not to let first-judgments get the better of me, I messed around with it a little.
Come to find out "Oh joy!" It takes JUST AS LONG to get to a definition as it would if I just had a book. Hmph. Book is easier to use too.
I am le sad. I also upgraded my phone today. Cost me MORE money. Hopefully this investment won't be a total waste either. My phone dies randomly and it's battery won't last one day. NOT ONE DAY! ;_; Cross your fingers, hmn?
But on a scale of good things to bad things, my life is still going great. =D I cannot WAIT for my trip to Japan!! ^___^ SO EXCITED! Ouuuuuuu soooooo excited am I. And Suger is doing well, and my daddy says he is doing well too! ^^ So not so bad!
And I got a new loach! I name hiiiiiim Kodo. Yay for Kodo! He's about the size of Miaka(My current loach)'s tailfin. Soooooo tiny!
So, yes. This is my time in a nutshell. Yay for me, hmn? ^__^ With the bad you get the good! |

I just bought the PERFECT luggage!!! It's a 3 Piece set, green with apples on it. Absolutely perfect for me!!
Aaaaaaaand I'm getting myself back into crafty things. I haven't been able to be expressive and creative lately, so I will be getting into little craft projects and crocheting! Crocheting party this Sunday, here I come!!
And and and....hmn. I CAN'T WAIT FOR JAPAN!!!! I'm soooooo excited!!!!
I think that's about it for now.
Oh, and keep praying for my daddy! He has lost a lot of weight lately, and not in the good way. |

Sitting in the studio with The Regular Guys, typing up our minutes and doing little errands here and there (Calling listeners, getting video equipment, taping things, putting equipment away, so on), and getting ready to go to TGI Fridays for a Japan Club meeting...then going to a Japanese Study Abroad meeting at 3:30. All of this makes me realize how in depthly I loved and lived in my dreams in high school.
Reading my old blogs...talking about my "beloved Phiph" and my BryBry...and how much I missed Jase when I had thought he had died and how I kept searching for Richard. How little things bothered me, being in Statistics class on the computer...it's just amazing to me.
I have so many things going on in my life right now. My family, my friends, Rock 100.5, my possible (Cross your fingers!) internship with Cartoon Network, the Japan Club, school, preparing for my Study Abroad to Japan, my new scholarship as Assistant Director for the Study Abroad trip...and so much more...
I keep reliving those days in my head right now. Of only having my family, friends, high school, Hobby Lobby...but most of all living in my dreams.
Most of all I miss how descriptive I would get back then. My posts had such...meat to them. Now I state the basic bits for a sentence that will suffice.
XD Oh man. Toooo crazy. That and I keep using short sentences instead of typing the sentence out. Well...yeah.
Hahaha, oh well. ^-^ As my 17 year old self said!

O_O...I just found my old Xanga. It has posts from 2003, when I was in highschool. While reading this, I remember how oddly well spoken I was writing certain things, and randomly very ill spoken. "Yay! Awesome, ne? Well, I'll lovingly beat her and put her into the proverbial box of love." or somestuff. So weird...
I do remember some of these things, but not all of them. *Sigh* I do miss those days.....I really do....

| Valentine's Day! |

Yay! Granted, I had to work from 10-7, but V-Day was so much fun! Jacob visited me at work about an hour before I got off and hung out with me to pass the hour by. Then I went home and he kind of took his time (to "give me time to get ready") and when he came to pick me up he had a box of chocolates and a card!!
And then he took me to Shogun. ^_^! That was SO Much fun! Hibachi is awesome anyway, but being with him made it a million times better.
We got there and a girl was like
Girl: "Hi, I have a reservation for two."
Guy: "Okay, it'll be ten minutes"
Girl: "...but I have a reservation"
Guy: "Okay, it'll be ten minutes.."
Girl: "Ugh!"
She storms off and like, pouts in the corner. The guy with her kept standing awkwardly by her. So we get seated and of COURSE she sits at our table also. She just sits there the entire time holding her head and glaring, or laying her head on the table. I felt so badly for the guy! After the salad and the soup they just got up and left. Jacob and I looked at each other and started laughing, which prompted the other table-mates to join in. Then we all just talked about those two and kept talking and had a ton of fun! ^^ It turned into a true hibachi experience, with different couples and people talking to complete strangers and sharing a meal! And our hibachi guy was just hilarious!
So we go back to my house. Now, we realized that a plush cow that he had given me previously allowed us to not only CLAIM a star, but to name it! So all throughout dinner we were discussing names and settled upon Kairos (It has many meanings, and when used in literature and whatnot it's like pathos and logos but with timing.) and it also happened to be one of my favorite names. It fit so perfectly that we decided on it, and back at my house we went on the website and picked a star and named it. ^_^! He says that sometime this weekend we can go to an observatory and look for our star.
All in all, work aside (Not that work was even that bad, it even went by pretty quickly), I had an amazing Valentine's Day. It also let me see how truly amazing this guy is. ^_^

I am fish cursed. Dani's in Connecticut for a week, and so of course one of her fishes decides that this is the week it should die. When I am in the care of it. Damnit!
And I was down to three fish this morning. Two loaches one guppy. I get home today.....only two are in there. I look around, and there is Master Lu, my very first fish, a dojo loach, lying on his back in dust bunnies behind my dresser!!!
So I scoop him up and plunk him into a bucket of the aquarium water and add some stress relief stuff, brush the bunnies off and all that. He finally starts to perk up a bit so I put him into his tank. He's...well, alive, jees. I sure hope he'll be okay.
I glared at my guppy too....damn thing. I don't know that it caused anything, but he kept nipping at poor Surfer, Foggy, AND Mic, and they're all dead...>_<. I mentally told him that if he dies and puts more ammonia into my tank I will cry.
So he decided to be all side-floaty and sinking to the bottom before darting around like a spazz...so...I flushed him. Only after he laid on the ground for a while on his side. >_< He would nip at Lu too if Lu was lying on the top of the tree trunk, so I blame him!
*Sigh* For now, Lu is okay. I'm going to the Aquarium store tomorrow to see if there is anything else I can do. |

Everyone, will you do me a favor? If you pray, will you pray for my friends and family who are having a hard time? I know that there are things going on right now in my life that I don't like, but there are so many others who are having much worse happening to them so please, think about them. If you don't pray, I wouldn't dream of asking of anything of you but to just keep them in your thoughts.
Thank you guys so much! If you want me to pray about anything for you, leave a comment. But you all are always in my thoughts anyway! Where would I be without such wonderful friends? |

Man, why do I open the can of worms?? So! 99X was doing a "What celebrity can you get" Challenge, so I call Mr. Fantastic: George Lowe! XD Straight to voice mail. I left a message, and didn't really expect anything else.
He calls me...aaaaand was like "No." XD REALLY nice about it though. I'm calling him back after the show to find out the backstory, he said he would do it for me, but it's the fact that it's for 99X that changed his mind. Hmn. Well, radio stations have a way of making enemies, that's for sure.
